2020 Fall Ball Game Schedule Format Announced
With the excitement brewing about the upcoming Fall Ball season, we’re excited to open up Veterans Memorial Park for a new season of baseball and softball. As the season has taken shape, so has our Fall Ball game schedule. The full game schedule will be released and posted for each team by Friday, August 7. For now, we want to provide a sneak preview of how the game schedule will play out during the 2020 Fall Ball season.
ABOUT THE GAME FORMAT AND CALENDAR
- Regular Season Games begin weekend of August 22-23
- Saturday Games to be scheduled on August 22, September 12, September 19, October 3
- Saturday game times will be 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
- Most teams will play one game, some teams will play two games on Saturdays
- Sunday Games to be scheduled every Sunday starting August 23 and ending October 4
- Sunday game times will be 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- All teams will play two games on Sundays (except Tee Ball, just one game)
- In Junior Rookie, one team will play a doubleheader each Sunday, this will rotate all season
- Saturday Games to be scheduled on August 22, September 12, September 19, October 3
- Single-Elimination Tournament for all divisions (except Tee Ball) set for October 11 (rain date is October 18)
- Tee Ball will play one game on Sunday, October 11
- Weeknight Practices will continue all season
- Sunday practices are set only for August 2, August 9 and August 16
- 14 scheduled practices during the season
- Rainout Games will not be rescheduled
- We have constructed a regular season game schedule with additional games built in to accommodate possible rain outs
- 11 scheduled games for Tee Ball
- 12 scheduled games (+ tournament) for Junior Rookie
- 19 scheduled games (+ tournament) for RB, MB, SM, JBB, 8U, 10U, 12U 14U
