ABOUT THE 2025 OAKLANDON BOMBERS

The Oaklandon Bombers are competitive travel baseball teams for ages 8-14 years old. FTT Bombers teams play games and tournaments only against other designated full-time travel teams. Since FTT players do not participate in the recreational league, the FTT team’s season typically runs from August through July. FTT Bombers teams travel throughout Indiana and to select tournaments out of state. Eligible players on the team for each age group must be of that age by April 30, 2025.

The Oaklandon Bombers is a travel baseball opportunity that promotes positive self-esteem, creates memorable experiences and camaraderie. Teams are coached by strong role models who lead by example. Our coaches focus on development, respect, life lessons, fairness and character, all in a safe, welcomed and positive environment. We emphasize the value of teamwork and responsibility to overcome challenges both on and off the field. OYO travel programs are committed to meeting and exceeding expectations by delivering high-quality, fundamentally sound and competitive baseball experiences.

Make plans to participate in the tryouts for one of our full-time travel baseball teams set for late July and early August. OYO offers two types of travel programs for baseball, sporting the nickname Bombers. We offer rec travel teams and full-time travel teams, and these tryouts are for full-time travel teams only at this time.

Team Tryout & Coach Information

Tryouts for the 2025 Full-Time Travel Oaklandon Bombers (baseball) teams are now posted below for all approved teams.  See below for tryout dates/times, coach selections and related information for each age group.

For tryouts, players are requested to meet the following criteria:

  • All tryouts are scheduled to take place at Veterans Memorial Park, 12150 East 62nd Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46235
  • Arrive 30 minutes early
  • Dressed for tryouts wearing appropriate baseball attire
  • Do not wear any clothing or hats affiliating you with any past travel team (exception: helmets with team logos are permitted)
  • All schedules are subject to change, flexibility is requested
