OYO Honors Spring 2026 Jim DeSalle Leadership Award Recipients

OYO is proud to recognize six outstanding individuals as recipients of the Spring 2026 Jim DeSalle Leadership Award (from left to right):

Presented each spring and fall, the Jim DeSalle Leadership Award honors coaches and umpires who lead by example and embody the values of the OYO Way: Development. Respect. Life Lessons. Fairness. Character.

The award is named in memory of Jim DeSalle, a longtime supporter of youth sports in the Lawrence community and a dedicated volunteer, coach and umpire at OYO. Through his service as both a coach and umpire, Jim demonstrated the importance of showing up, giving back, and leading with humility, kindness, and purpose.

This season’s recipients were selected for their commitment to our athletes, families, and community, as well as their dedication to creating a positive experience for everyone involved in OYO Baseball and Softball. Please join us in congratulating them on this well-deserved recognition.
