Oaklandon Youth Organization

Every year, OYO hosts more than 1000 games at our facility covering the spring, fall, and travel seasons. Many of our families and visitors frequent our concession stands seeking quality products and service. As a result, we are consistently seeking to provide the best service possible from a well-trained, dependable staff.

Concessions Manager

Job Description

OYO’s Concessions Manager is a paid position that oversees all concession operations at Veterans Memorial Park. Responsibilities will include training and managing staff, scheduling, maintaining product inventory and daily sales reporting.

Make cash deposits weekly.
Maintain accurate concession stand management data

Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills and Experience

Experience in food service, retail management or non-profit management preferred.
Prior concession stand experience a plus
Prior experience managing employees and vendor relationships required
Strong knowledge and proficiency with accounting and inventory practices
Ability to enforce rules and follow all established protocols and guidelines
Ability to resolve conflicts between patrons and employees
Ability to make sound and rational decisions including exercising independent judgment
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision
Ability to lift and move concession product as necessary
Ability to work nights and weekends
Retains fiscal accountability for revenue, expenses and cash balancing
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
Must be proficient in cash handling, math and organizational skills
Must clear a national background check
