Coaches Corner | Three Timely Reminders

Our 2021 Spring Season coaches are doing a phenomenal job with all our teams and players. The emphasis on teamwork, player development and The OYO Way is on display at all our practices and games. As we enter the stretch run of our 47th Annual Fall Ball Season, here are three important reminders for all our coaches.

• Mandatory Pre-Tournament Coaches’ Meeting on Wednesday, June 2  — All coaches (or a team representative) are required to attend a brief pre-tournament coaches’ meeting at OYO on Wednesday, June 2 at 8:15 p.m. on Field 2.
• Player Evaluations Must Be Completed by Wednesday, June 2 — These must be completed online by Wednesday, June 2, if not in advance. If these are not completed on time, the head coach may not be eligible to coach in the team’s first tournament game. Details will be shared separately on how to complete this. If you need assistance with this new online process, please send an email to oyocommunications@gmail.com ASAP.
• Equipment Turn-in Must Happen no later than Thursday, June 17 (for 12 and under divisions) — After your last tournament game, all head coaches are expected to return their team equipment bags to the equipment room (in the three-garage barn near Fields 2-3). Please help keep OYO’s expenses (and registration fees) down by returning  all contents you received at the beginning of the season.
