FALL BALL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE RELEASED

The 2020 Fall Ball Tournament Brackets are now available for all our divisions participating in our rec league tournament this fall.

 

Date & Times | The single-elimination tournament is scheduled for Sunday, October 11. Game times are altered to accommodate longer games and shorter days. So please note game times are scheduled for 10 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

 

Special League-Specific Updates | There are two exceptions to the traditional single-elimination tournament plans for the following divisions:
    • Tee Ball | Your division does not participate in a tournament. Instead, each team is assigned a final game on Sunday, October 11 and participation trophies will be provided and should be awarded to your awesome ballplayers immediately following the game.
    • 12U Softball | Due to this three-team division, 12U Softball will adopt our hybrid-double-elimination tournament to ensure every team has to play/win at least one game to advance to a winner-take-all championship game. This bracket has been emailed to all 12U Softball families separately.

    • Login to LeagueApps
    • Access your player’s (or players’) team pages
    • Click on schedule
    • Scroll down to the end of the season’s schedule
    • Click on the narrow “Tournament” bar to download the complete bracket for your team

 

Rain Date | These brackets are subject to change if any activiites at Veterans Memorial Park, the home of OYO, are canceled because of rain or poor field conditions. That said, we’ll also work just as hard as we have in recent weeks to try to make all fields playable on Tournament Sunday. In the event of any cancellations due to rain or unplayable fields, the game schedule will carry over as is to Sunday, October 18.
