New 09U FTT Bombers Team Announced | Tryouts Start Soon!

Interest continues to grow in all of OYO’s rec league and travel programs. We’re excited to announce the addition of a new 09U Full-Time Travel Oaklandon Bombers squad. This team will be coached by Colin Thornburg.

Help us spread the word! Building on significant success on the rec travel circuit during recent seasons, this 09U Bombers team will be joining an elite Oaklandon Bombers full-time travel program that provides a highly organized, competitive, positive and instructional learning environment while focusing on player development and teaching the game.

To be eligible for the 09U Bombers team, the ballplayer must be age 9 or younger as of April 30, 2026. Reference the flyer for team details, including tryouts.

ACTION REQUIRED | A player only needs to attend one tryout, although attendance at both is welcome.

For tryouts, players are requested to meet the following criteria:

Arrive at least 15 minutes early
Dressed for tryouts wearing appropriate baseball attire
Catchers should bring their catcher’s gear
Do not wear any clothing or hats affiliating you with any past travel team (exception: helmets with team logos are permitted)
