Bill Sturm Memorial Tournament

OYO Knows: Bill Sturm Memorial Tournament Raises Funds for Scholarship Program

For 27 years, the Bill Sturm Memorial Tournament has been a cornerstone event at the Oaklandon Youth Organization. Open to rec travel baseball and softball teams (excluding full-time travel teams, except for 14U softball and select 13U-14U baseball teams), this tournament celebrates friendly competition while honoring one of OYO’s founders. Bill Sturm believed every child should have the chance to play, regardless of financial circumstances. His legacy continues through this tournament, which helps fund scholarships for over 75 young ballplayers each year.

Combining pool play and elimination games, the tournament offers a memorable experience for players and families alike. Join us in keeping Bill Sturm’s spirit alive through a tradition of fair play and opportunity. Learn more here.
